User Agreement

1. Acceptance of This Agreement

By using Boki, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this User Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You may use Boki only if you are legally permitted to do so under applicable law and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Boki only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

3. Limited License

Subject to this User Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Boki for your personal or internal lawful purposes on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store rules and this agreement.

You may not copy, distribute, sublicense, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or exploit Boki except as permitted by mandatory law or by express written permission.

4. Your Content and Responsibilities

You remain responsible for the images, files, and other content you choose to import, edit, save, export, or share through Boki. You confirm that you have all rights, permissions, and lawful authority necessary for that content and for the way you use it.

• You are responsible for reviewing exported results before sharing or publishing them.
• You are responsible for complying with privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, and other laws that apply to your content.
• If you share exported content through a third-party app or service, that third party's terms and privacy practices will apply.

5. Permissions and Device Features

Boki may request access to your camera, photo library, or files so that you can import and export images. Certain versions of the app may also present the App Tracking Transparency prompt and perform a lightweight startup network request as part of the current launch flow.

Some features may not work correctly if required permissions are denied or if Apple platform services are unavailable. You are responsible for your own device, operating system, network access, and backup practices.

6. Purchases and Virtual Coins

Boki may offer optional consumable in-app purchases through Apple. Coin packs are used only inside Boki to unlock optional premium local actions such as advanced creative operations or saved workflows.

• Coins are consumable, non-transferable, and have no cash value.
• Coins are not required for basic browsing of the app or access to existing saved work already available in the current implementation.
• All billing, payment processing, refund handling, and purchase terms are subject to Apple's rules and the payment method you use with Apple.
• We may change coin pricing, package sizes, or premium features at any time to the extent permitted by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Boki. Without limitation, you must not:

• Use the app in violation of any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right.
• Upload, edit, export, or distribute unlawful, infringing, abusive, harmful, or deceptive content.
• Attempt to interfere with the app, its security, purchase flow, or any connected platform service.
• Use bots, scripts, manipulation, or unauthorized technical means to bypass limits, pricing, permissions, or feature restrictions.

8. Intellectual Property

Boki, including its app design, branding, code, interface, text, graphics, and non-user content, is protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws. Except for the limited license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Availability and Updates

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of Boki at any time. Features, layouts, supported export modes, purchase offerings, or startup behavior may change over time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, region, or iOS version.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boki is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, device functionality, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of Boki.

If applicable law does not allow certain liability limitations, those limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Boki if we reasonably believe you have violated this User Agreement, created risk or harm, misused platform services, or where suspension is otherwise necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons. You may stop using Boki at any time by deleting the app.

13. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this User Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version and update the effective date. Your continued use of Boki after the updated agreement becomes effective means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
